Next Door Food and Drink holds the liquor license for the Rialto Theater Center, which includes the ground floor restaurant, the second floor event space, as well as the historic Rialto Theater itself. In addition to the fully-licensed bar and impressive wine stock in the restaurant, Next Door offers special event Bar Packages. We also offer a discounted champagne toast for groups of 12 or more, as well as kegs of draught beer (recommended for groups of 75 or more).

Our three Mobile Bar Packages – the VS, the VSOP, and the XO – each include a complete mobile bar set-up with a professional bartender. The VS offers guests their choice of well liquors, one bottled beer and two wines. The VSOP includes well liquors, call liquors, two bottled beers and four wines. The XO offers well liquors, call liquors, premium liquors, three bottled beers and up to six wines. There are two mobile bars available, and any package can be set up as a Cash Bar, Hosted Bar, or Unlimited Consumption Hosted Bar.

There are alternatives between a Cash Bar and a fully open Hosted Bar that can limit costs. The host can set a hard limit on cost, beyond which all beverages have to be paid for by guests, or set a time limit for an open bar, beyond which it reverts to being a cash bar. The host can also give out a specific number of drink vouchers to each guest, or specify that specific beverages, such as a few selected types of wines and beers, are paid for by the host, and that guests pay for all other types of drinks.

Hosted Packages must be purchased for all members of your party age 21+. Each mobile Bar Package requires a one-time service fee: $50 for the VS, $60 for the VSOP, and $70 for the XO. In addition to the 6.7% sales tax, a mandatory gratuity of 15% of all sales will be added to the total of all Hosted Bar Packages. IMPORTANT: Our bar staff will serve alcohol in a responsible manner, checking identification, watching for signs of intoxication, and slowing or terminating service to guests who show signs of alcohol impairment – even on Unlimited Consumption Hosted Packages.

Toast your special occasion with a round of sparkling white wine. This service does not require the mobile bar or any service fee, but is only available as a hosted service and with a minimum order of twelve (12) glasses. Non-alcoholic sparkling cider is available for those who wish it.
